What is Morpheus8?

New and exclusive at The Medished and part of the Inmode family, Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodelled to reveal a more radiant.

Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, periorbital area and more.

After a consultation will recommend the optimal number of sessions to be performed based on your personal objectives. Treatment times and frequency will be specifically tailored to obtain the optimal results. Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.

What is the treatment protocol?

I would perform a full medical/ lifestyle/consultation to see if you were a suitable candidate and have realistic goals.
Any potential contraindicated medications (e.g blood thinners/NSAIDs) would be ceased.
Anti HSV viral prophylaxis is recommended for patients with history of Herpes Simplex when treating the perioral area.
Local Anaesthetic would be applied for 60mins.
Skin cleansed with Clinisept

When will I see results?

Initially erythema (redness) 1-3 days -possible edema (localised swelling). Tiny needle holes/scabs may appear, lasting for a few days-Possible bruising-Downtime 1-2days.
Patients will feel positive treatment results after the first appointment
Many people notice their skin looks brighter and more vibrant even after one treatment
Full results seen after the third treatment.

Post-treatment & schedule

Cooling the skin post-treatment can reduce discomfort and excessive skin response.
Apply healing ointment or antibiotic ointment, immediately post treatment for 1-3 days.
As soon as the cratersclose (1-3 days), apply moisturizer, sun-screen, and make-up.
Downtime is minimal and ranges from 1-5 days, the longer time for superficial treatment and higher energy levels.Some patients hardly show any skin surface responsedespite future good results.
Number of sessions vary from 1-4 with intervals of 3-6 weeks, and maintenanceas needed.
Maintenance sessions vary in timing with patient, treatment area and clinical indication.
