Why you will love Polynucleotides - Introducing Ameela the secret to firm and hydrated skin.

Updated: Aug 22, 2023

FYI Ameela is a new rebrand name - previously known as Nucleaydn - Same product!

Hi everyone, today I'm excited to talk about Ameela, a new injectable treatment that's making waves the world of facial aesthetics due to its regenerative abilities . As an aesthetics expert, I can tell you that this treatment is one of the most exciting developments I've seen in recent years. So what is Ameela and what makes it so special? Let's dive in and find out!

What is Ameela?

How does Ameela work? - The Science

Well this amazing bio stimulating treatment is made from highly purified polynucleotides.

When we inject polynucleotides this results in a positive histological change of the fibroblasts, osteoblasts, adipocytes and other structures in our skin. Fibrobalsts... our collagen producing cells turn into myofibroblasts. Most importantly stem cells are attracted to the area which have a strong reparative effect for the surrounding tissue. This means positive effects are seen quickly - and a lift in the skins structure is visible after just a few minutes.

We can improve skin laxity, ageing skin, and the reduction of eye bags, a very common compliant. So it's exciting new regenerative medicine. It's also great in the prevention of ageing skin. Collagen is a protein that's responsible for giving the skin its firmness and elasticity, but as we age, our bodies produce less and less of it. By increasing collagen production, Ameela helps to restore the skin's youthful appearance.

What makes Ameela different from other injectable treatments on the market?

Ameela is designed to work with your body's natural processes, rather than simply filling in lines and wrinkles like other injectables. This means that the results of Ameela are more natural-looking and longer-lasting than many other treatments. Ameela also stimulates growth factors that help to repair damaged skin cells and promote the growth of new ones. This helps to improve the skin's overall texture and tone, giving it a more radiant and youthful appearance. Another thing that sets Ameela apart is its versatility.

It’s particularly effective in treating the skin around the eyes. Ameela Eyes is designed specifically for the delicate skin around the eyes. It can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and crow's feet around the eyes, giving you a more youthful and refreshed look. Additionally, Ameela Eyes can help to reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes, which can be a major concern for many people. Best of all, Ameela Eyes is a non-invasive treatment that has minimal downtime. Overall, Ameela Eyes is a great choice for anyone who wants to improve the appearance of their eyes and achieve a more youthful, refreshed look.

Why are there 3 different Nucleadyn options? And what is the protocol of use?

The three types available are of different concentrations. I can decide what product is best for the area that you want to improve. If treating the eye area we use a blunt ended cannula or needle to deposit the product. If treating the face we use a blunt cannula ( not painful), and when treating the neck we use a needle technique. 2/3 treatments are needed 2/4 weeks apart and a maintenance treatment is needed at 6/9 months.

You will see an immediate benefit and lift after treatment however the real benefit at 60 days when you will enjoy reduction of fine lines/tightening effect of the skin, improved circulation and lightening of the under eye area. Side effects such as bruising and bumps may occur, and possible swelling in the injection area for up to 3 days. Ameela is suitable for many patients, however as always, consultation is key.

This is a very important question that I'm sure you all want answered!

  • After the NECK treatment visible bumps will be apparent but should settle within 48 hours.

  • After the FACE treatment it may be slightly sore to touch at the cannula entry points. (A cannula is a blunt tip that can slide through your skin to deposit the Ameela). It’s not painful....just feels a bit weird with some pressure.

  • After the EYES treatment it may be slightly sore at the cannula entry point. (A cannula is a blunt tip that can slide through your skin to deposit the Ameela). Needles can also be used around the eye which can cause tiny bruising and swelling for 1-3 days.

📷 Thankyou to my patient for allowing me to share her journey. The before and after is immediately after a Ameela full face treatment. The results will continue to improve. The new treatment is so exciting in aesthetic medicine! Especially for those wanting to age well:)

In conclusion, Ameela (polynucleotides) are a game-changer in the world of regenerative medicine. It's great for restoring and rejuvenating the skin, and its natural-looking, long-lasting results set it apart from other injectable treatments on the market. If you're looking for a non-surgical way to improve your skin's appearance, Ameela may be just what you've been searching for!

With love,
