Hello everyone! Following on from the The Medished Triple skin boost we are now going to talk about the newest protocol available at the Medished called 'The ultimate Medished body boost'.

This is combining some of the most effective technologies and injectables available at The Medished to really get you body confident from a wellness and aesthetic perspective.

So what is it you may ask? Well, it involves 3 treatments which are as follows...

How does the protocol work?

I would perform a full medical/lifestyle/diet consultation to see if you were a suitable candidate and discuss your body goals. You would then have a course of Emsculpt and Emsella treatments. This is your 'core to floor therapy' when usually 4/6 sessions of each treatment are performed over 2/3 weeks. At your 8-week review, I would perform an injectable Profhilo body treatment on your abdomen to help tighten and hydrate any lax skin and then another treatment at 12 weeks.

Core to floor therapy is the first preventative and corrective solution to address your entire core muscle group by improving your strength, balance, posture, and potentially, alleviate back pain! We utilise two HIFEM therapies to strengthen, firm, and tone your abdomen and pelvic floor muscles and pelvic floor dysfunction. The result is increased muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia and restoration of neuromuscular control, which can improve your strength, balance, and even incontinence.... the ultimate, non-surgical, pelvic floor treatment.

When life gets in the way, whether it's the daily grind, injury, or menopause, my patients have reported it becomes harder and harder to keep up with an exercise routine. After the age of 30, we lose about 3 to 5% of our muscle mass per decade. Only 55% of adults engage in enough physical activity to achieve health benefits. Core-to-floor therapy with Emsculpt and Emsella makes it possible for those who lead busy lives to easily keep up their core and pelvic floor strengthening. (Regular exercise is obviously advised alongside).

Is the treatment painful?

The EMSculpt® procedure feels like an intensive workout. You can lie down and relax during the treatment and chat with me:) With Emsella®, you will experience tingling and pelvic floor muscle contractions during the procedure. You may resume daily activities immediately after the treatment.

When will I start to see some results?

With EMSculpt®, you begin to feel tangible results right after the treatment. Positive results are usually reported two to four weeks after the last session and continue to improve for several weeks following the treatments.

With Emsella®, you may observe improvement after the first two sessions. The results will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks. As with any non-surgical treatment, results may vary depending on your starting point.

Secondly, we would move on to the peel. This is a quick yet effective chemical peel that results in visible improvements following just one application with minimal or no downtime. Why are there 3 different Nucleadyn options? And what is the protocol of use?

The three types available are of different concentrations. I can decide what product is best for the area that you want to improve. If treating the eye area we use a blunt ended cannula or needle to deposit the product. If treating the face we use a blunt cannula ( not painful), and when treating the neck we use a needle technique. 2/3 treatments are needed 2/4 weeks apart and a maintenance treatment is needed at 6/9 months.

You will see an immediate benefit and lift after treatment however the real benefit at 60 days when you will enjoy reduction of fine lines/tightening effect of the skin, improved circulation and lightening of the under eye area. Side effects such as bruising and bumps may occur, and possible swelling in the injection area for up to 3 days. Ameela is suitable for many patients, however as always, consultation is key.

This is a very important question that I'm sure you all want answered!

• After the NECK treatment visible bumps will be apparent but should settle within 48 hours.

• After the FACE treatment it may be slightly sore to touch at the cannula entry points. (A cannula is a blunt tip that can slide through your skin to deposit the Ameela). It’s not painful....just feels a bit weird with some pressure.

• After the EYES treatment it may be slightly sore at the cannula entry point. (A cannula is a blunt tip that can slide through your skin to deposit the Ameela). Needles can also be used around the eye which can cause tiny bruising and swelling for 1-3 days.
