CryoPen
World class benign skin lesion removal made easy

CryoPen® is a cryotherapy treatment that uses a highly targeted jet of nitrous oxide to freeze and destroy unwanted benign skin lesions. Commonly treated lesions include skin tags, seborrhoeic keratoses, cherry angiomas, milia, age spots, solar lentigines, and other benign lesions assessed as suitable by Dr Dil or Amy.

The treatment works by rapidly freezing the targeted tissue, causing controlled destruction of the lesion, which is then naturally removed by the body during the healing process.

Does it hurt?

How long will it take?

The CryoPen treatment itself is usually very quick, often taking just a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the size and number of areas being treated.

Your appointment may take around 15–30 minutes in total, including consultation and preparation. After treatment, the area may take several days to a few weeks to fully heal, depending on the type and size of the area treated.

Is it right for me?

CryoPen may be suitable for you if you have a benign skin lesion such as a skin tag, wart, seborrhoeic keratosis or certain other non-cancerous lesions that your practitioner has assessed as appropriate for treatment. During your appointment, the area will be examined to make sure CryoPen is suitable and safe for you. If there is any uncertainty about what the lesion is, it should be assessed by an appropriate healthcare professional before treatment.
