Could CryoPen Be Coming to The Medi-Shed. We'd Love Your Thoughts!
If you've been visiting The Medi-Shed for a while, you'll know that we are always looking at ways we can bring treatments into the clinic that genuinely benefit our patients. Our goal has never been to offer treatments just because they're popular, it's about introducing services that solve real concerns and help our patients feel more confident in their own skin.
That's why we’ve recently been researching CryoPen, and…. We think it could be a fantastic addition to The Medi-Shed. But before we make any decisions, we’d love to hear what you think.
Have you ever been bothered by a skin lesion? So many people tell us about the little things they've simply learned to live with.
Perhaps it's a skin tag that catches on your necklace or clothing. Maybe it's a small cherry angioma that's become more noticeable over the years.
Maybe you have an age spot, seborrhoeic keratosis (those harmless raised brown patches that often appear as we get older), or stubborn warts and verrucas.
The truth is, these are incredibly common concerns.
They're usually harmless, but that doesn't mean they don't affect your confidence. Whether they're catching when you get dressed, becoming irritated, or simply bothering you every time you look in the mirror, they can be frustrating.
What is CryoPen?
CryoPen is a quick, medical treatment that uses a controlled ultra cold jet of high pressure nitrous oxide to safely freeze and remove many benign skin lesions.
Treatment is usually completed within minutes and requires very little downtime.
It's a simple, effective way of removing many common skin concerns without surgery.
Why are we considering introducing it?
As many of you know, we're passionate about helping you feel your best.
We already offer treatments to improve skin health and confidence, from medical grade skincare to advanced light based treatments and aesthetics.
CryoPen feels like a natural extension of what we already do.
It would allow us to help patients with concerns that may not be dangerous but are still something they've wanted removed for years and can’t get done by the NHS anymore.
Sometimes it's the smallest things that make the biggest difference to how someone feels.
