Love your neckline again: A Modern Protocol for Décolleté Rejuvenation

Today we are going talk about the most neglected areas in medical aesthetics..... the décolletage. The décolleté seems be be a common concern for many patients especially as the weather improves.

While we lavish attention on our faces, the delicate skin of the neck and chest often gives the game away when it comes to sun damage, collagen loss, and the passage of time. Fine lines, crepey texture, and pigmentation can creep in quietly… until one day, you realise your décolleté just doesn’t quite match your face. So what can we do to help you feel more confident in this area?

At The Medished, I take a holistic, layered approach to rejuvenation. This summer, I've developed a combination protocol for rejuvenating the décolletage; an elegant treatment trio that lifts, firms, brightens and protects. All three treatments together show great success in rejuvenation for the décolleté area. Let's go through the treatment options!

Step One: Structural Support with Hyperdilute Radiesse

This is where the magic starts! Radiesse is a biostimulatory injectable made from Calcium Hydroxylapatite. When hyperdiluted, it acts less like a filler and more like a collagen-stimulating elixir. Tiny amounts are strategically injected into the dermis using a cannula (not painful just feels slightly weird!) to strengthen the skin matrix, improve texture and elasticity, and support skin that’s lost its bounce. Think of it as scaffolding for your skin: invisible, gradual, and beautifully natural.

It’s a brilliant treatment for the crepey, sun-thinned skin of the chest and a firm favourite in my clinic for skin that’s ready for a refresh.

Next, we lock in those gains! This medical-grade cream by Obagi is specifically formulated for the neck and chest, and it’s one of the few creams I truly rate for these zones.

What happens at my Morpheus8 appointment?

After your consultation, photography and consent, a topical anaesthetic is applied to ensure your comfort. This takes 60 minutes to take effect. You can relax whilst this is taking effect. Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency energy through the needles into the deeper layers of the skin. This RF energy helps to heat the tissue and stimulate collagen and elastin production. The treatment will be performed by me DrDil or Amy who works for Inmode as a clinical trainer She is the queen at delivering safe, quick and transformative treatments, so your in safe hands with the best clinicians treating you who know what they are doing:). How to maximise your Morpheus8 Burst treatments

If you’re considering Morpheus8, it’s excellent for preventative ageing, treating mild to moderate skin laxity, and improving texture without surgery. On the right patient Morpheus8 is a fantastic treatment to stimulate collagen with numerous patients reporting exceptional results and a positive overall experience.

1. Choose a Skilled Practitioner - The results depend heavily on the expertise of the provider. A skilled practitioner knows how to target the right skin depths, adjust energy levels, and customise treatment for your skin type.

   
   

2. Start with a series of treatments - most people need 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. This allows the collagen-building process to compound and deliver visible improvements in firmness, smoothness, and texture.

Morpheus8 stimulates collagen production, firms the skin, and improves elasticity. Collagen remodeling is gradual. So doing a course of treatments either before or alongside your weight loss could help maintain a more youthful, tightened look. Starting Morpheus8 before GLP-1s is generally a good strategy for maintaining skin tightness during weight loss, however as always consultation is always key. Each face is unique and a bespoke treatment plan is always advised.
